macOS Application

Flowstay is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App operates entirely locally on your Mac:

• No data collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your voice recordings, transcriptions, or usage data.
• Local processing: All voice transcription is performed locally on your device using on-device machine learning models. Your voice never leaves your Mac.
• No account required: You can use Flowstay without creating an account or providing any personal information.
• Network connections: The App may connect to the internet only for:
  • Downloading speech recognition models (only when you first install or update the App)
  • Checking for software updates

Website analytics

When you visit our Website (flowstay.app), we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand traffic and interest in our App:

• What we collect: Cloudflare Web Analytics collects anonymized information about page views, referrers, and general geographic location (country-level only).
• No personal data: Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, and does not collect IP addresses or other personally identifiable information.
• Purpose: We use this data solely to understand how visitors use our Website and to improve our content.

How we use information

Since we don't collect personal data from the App, there is no user data to use, share, or sell. The anonymous website analytics data is used solely to:

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. The only third-party service we use is Cloudflare Web Analytics for our Website, as described above.

Since Flowstay processes all voice data locally on your Mac:

• Your data stays on your device: Voice recordings and transcriptions are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
• You control your data: All transcription data remains in your control and can be deleted by you at any time by uninstalling the App.
• No cloud storage: We do not store any user data in the cloud.
